Build bitcoin liquidity
Convert the available project capital into bitcoin and maintain a reserve for channel funding, transaction fees and liquidity management. One bitcoin contains 100 million sats.
LIGHT is a proposed funding bridge from the Ethereum ecosystem, including Unichain, to Bitcoin’s Lightning Network: deploying capital into bitcoin liquidity and channel capacity measured in sats.
The aim is to build a supply of bitcoin liquidity, establish channels with other nodes and support infrastructure that routes real payments.
PROPOSED MODEL · BITCOIN LIQUIDITY · PAYMENT ROUTING
LIGHT’s proposed role is to connect capital raised in the Ethereum ecosystem with the bitcoin needed to operate Lightning payment infrastructure. Unichain is an Ethereum Layer 2 network; the channels funded through this model operate on Bitcoin’s Lightning Network.
After the trading liquidity allocation and disclosed costs, available proceeds can be converted into bitcoin. That bitcoin can fund channels, expand useful capacity and establish connections with other nodes.
This is an economic bridge: the operator converts and deploys funds. LIGHT does not automatically move assets between chains, represent wrapped bitcoin or redeem for sats.
Convert the available project capital into bitcoin and maintain a reserve for channel funding, transaction fees and liquidity management. One bitcoin contains 100 million sats.
Open and fund channels with suitable peers. Coordinate inbound liquidity alongside outbound balances so the node can forward payments between connected nodes.
Successful forwarded payments can generate routing fees for the operating node. Monitor demand, balances and costs, then manage capacity where it is useful.
LIGHT aims to grow the project’s available liquidity supply. Channel funding commits existing BTC; it does not increase Bitcoin’s total supply. Routing fees depend on actual payment flow and are not guaranteed.
The proposed model has a 100 billion LIGHT total supply. Its purpose is to direct part of the capital raised towards bitcoin payment infrastructure while reserving a portion for LIGHT trading liquidity.
The allocation below separates LIGHT market liquidity from Bitcoin Lightning liquidity. These are different pools of capital: a LIGHT trading pool does not itself provide sats for payment channels. Figures remain proposed pending final terms.
At the proposed dollar floor, selling 8 billion tokens would raise approximately US$8,000: US$2,000 for the ETH side of liquidity and US$6,000 remaining before fees. The exact ETH floor and launch threshold must be checked in the final auction. This is an illustration, not a fundraising forecast.
Deploy bitcoin into channels on the project’s node. Select peers around expected payment demand and manage balances as payments move through the network.
Establish connections with independent node operators. Channel size, inbound and outbound liquidity, availability and fee policies all affect the routes a node can support.
A business or operator can run its own Lightning node and establish channels with the project’s node or other peers. Its own keys, funding and channel management remain under its control.
Holding LIGHT does not automatically provide hardware, BTC funding or a channel allocation. Any support or liquidity arrangement needs separate agreed terms.
A routing node can charge a base fee and a proportional fee when it successfully forwards a payment. An open channel alone does not generate revenue: useful liquidity and actual routing demand are needed.
For illustration, a 1,000,000-sat payment forwarded at 100 parts per million with a 1-sat base fee earns 101 sats in gross routing fees. This is an example fee policy, not a forecast.
Net results also depend on channel opening and closing fees, rebalancing, hardware, connectivity and other operating costs. Any retained operating surplus could be redeployed into capacity, subject to a published treasury policy.
Routing fees accrue to the node operator. The current LIGHT proposal does not give token holders an automatic claim on those fees.
How Lightning routing fees work ↗Track capital from funding to deployment: treasury balances, bitcoin acquired, capacity committed, payment activity and operating costs. Publish final token allocations and control arrangements so the model can be assessed.
No. One bitcoin contains 100 million sats, but LIGHT is a separate token. There is no proposed one-to-one backing, bitcoin peg or right to redeem LIGHT for sats.
Under the current proposal, holding LIGHT does not confer ownership of the node, its bitcoin, Sovereign Light Node or Royalty Finance Ltd. It does not grant a share of routing revenue, dividends or a guaranteed return. Any final token utility and terms must be published before launch.
This page describes a proposal. A live auction and deployed token have not been confirmed here. Use only verified official links once published.
The model can support connections with independent nodes, and Sovereign Light Node can discuss node setup and channel planning. Buying LIGHT does not automatically fund your node or entitle you to channel liquidity. Each arrangement requires separate terms.
LIGHT could lose all its value. A launch may not attract enough bids, trading liquidity may be limited, and infrastructure funding does not guarantee demand for the token. Smart contracts, network operation, channel management and the operator’s use of funds introduce additional risks.
